For the first time since the beginning of pandemic Friuli Venezia Giulia will become two-colored zone this Saturday, 6 March.
Present Fedriga announced new FVG measures during a press conference at the Palmanova Headquarters on March 4th.
“I understand that we are asking for more sacrifice from the sectors that have already suffered enough during the pandemic. But we are doing this for the common good. These are very difficult decisions to make and I am taking full responsibility for them.”
With this Fedriga announced that provinces of Udine and Gorizia will go back to being the “orange zones” starting from Saturday, 6 March. Whereas Trieste is to remain the the yellow zone for the time being.
A key point in the new decree is the closure of middle and high schools, as well as universities, throughout FVG with in-class lessons to be replaced by distance learning starting 8 March.
“The quick rise in the contagion numbers in our region in the past two weeks made us reconsider some of the decisions previously taken,” said vice president Riccardi.
The new FVG decree will come in force starting 6 March and can be consulted here.
