Mare Vitovska is an annual event which celebrates the most famous native grape variety of Carso, Gorizia and Slovenia. The event is organized by the Association of Winegrowers of Karst-Kras at Duino Castle, extraordinary location with incredible views.
The annual event, which was founded to promote Vitovska viticulture and winemaking along the entire Karst plateau, is celebrating its 16th edition this year. Vitovska variety is a cross between Trieste’s native Prosecco (tondo) & Malvasia Bianca Lunga.
Music, wine tastings, local cuisine and guided tours will be the epitome of fun on Friday 30 June and Saturday 1 July, from 6 – 11 pm at Duino Castle.
There will be a dedicated bus that will depart from Piazza Oberdan (and back) for all participants. Please, send email to RSVP: carsobuskras@gmail.com
