Pending further specific provisions relating to regular residence, currently being adopted, according to Italian law, Ukrainian citizens entering Italy are required to declare their presence in Italy by submitting this form, duly completed, to the police headquarters within 8 days of entering our country.
According to Italian law, people who host foreigners are required to give written notice within 48 hours, by filling out this form and delivering it to the police headquarters or by forwarding it to the pec anticrimine.quest.ts@pecps.poliziadistato.it or by registered mail at the address “Trieste Police Headquarters – Anticrime Division – Building Transfer Office – Via Matteo Demenego and Pierluigi Rotta 2 – 34100 – Trieste”.
A passport or equivalent document must be presented together with the declaration of presence. It is advisable, where possible, to prepare a photocopy of the document.
In this regard, the Embassy of the Republic of Ukraine has communicated that citizens of that country fleeing the war without documents can ask to be identified at the Ukrainian Consulates in Italy, using this form.
Furthermore, the same Embassy announced that, in reference to wartime, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has issued a resolution relating to the extension of the validity of Ukrainian passports up to five years and the inclusion of minors under 16 on the passport of parents.
The aforementioned obligations will be carried out at the Trieste Police Headquarters – Immigration Office – Via del Teatro Romano n. 4.
